Digitise your dental models
with Planmeca ProMax® 3D units

In addition to X-ray images of patients, all Planmeca ProMax® 3D units can also be used to scan dental models – weather they are impressions or plaster casts. You can now digitise the models and data in various ways.

Dental model scans produce an STL file – an artefact-free model of your patient’s dentition which includes bone, crowns, and soft tissue. When combined with the patients CBCT data, you will gain valuable information that can be utilised when planning implants. The combined data will allow accurate implant planning and even allow designing a surgical guide in the guide design module for the Planmeca Romexis® software.

Orthodontists in particular will value this feature, as they can digitise their plaster casts instead of storing the physical models. The data can be utilised in the Planmeca Romexis® 3D Ortho Studio software module. Naturally, the digitised dental models can be printed with the new Planmeca Creo™ 3D printer. Due to the Planmeca Romexis® software's open architecture, you can also freely export the STL files to various other software, or directly send the files to any 3D printer.

Imaging with ease
– the comfort of anatomical presets

All Planmeca ProMax® 3D units are designed for easy usability and unmatched patient comfort. To ensure an optimal dose for every patient, the X-ray units feature numerous imaging presets and patient size selections that facilitate the image acquisition process.

You can select the patient size, jaw shape, and anatomical target on the large touch screen and the unit will adjust the exposure settings accordingly.

The Planmeca ProMax 3D Plus, Mid, and Max units are suitable for larger FOVs, and also equipped with anatomical presets for ENT imaging. They enable more experienced users to alter exposure settings when encountering rarer cases.

Intraoral imaging
in full harmony
– unique integration of Planmeca ProX™ with Planmeca ProSensor® HD

Optimise your intraoral imaging workflow! For fluent and user-friendly procedures, integrate the Planmeca ProSensor® HD intraoral sensor's control box with the Planmeca ProX™ introral X-ray unit. This integrated intraoral system is always easily at hand, with outstanding images displayed on the screen just seconds after exposure, and a colour-coded LED light that provides real time information of the imaging procedure.

The white sensor colour has been designed for easy positioning and the magnetic connector is easy to attach to the sensor with only one hand – ensuring that the sensor is always in the correct position.
